Energy is the fiddliest one, so we'll use it to show our workings — the same four steps run for car and home insurance, broadband and mobile. Where you live, what you use and how you pay all change the price.

What Bully does — and what he doesn't
BILLOCKS is the service. Bully is the assistant doing the reading, the sums and the typing.
- 1He reads your bill or renewal letter — a photo of any page will do.
- 2He pulls out the bits that matter: supplier, deal, usage, standing charge, renewal date.
- 3He compares where you stand now against the deals you could actually get.
- 4He tells you the potential saving, and says so plainly when there isn't one.
- 5For supported suppliers — the ones whose real application we've checked ourselves — he can help fill in that supplier's own form.
- 6You read every answer over before anything goes anywhere.
- 7You submit or authorise the switch yourself. Nothing changes until you say so.
Bully never pretends to be you, and he never switches anything on your behalf. Where a supplier isn't supported, he hands you the numbers and a link so you can do it yourself.
How we do the maths

We start with where you live
Your postcode tells us which suppliers can serve you and, for gas, whether you're on the Greater Belfast & West network or Ten Towns. If a supplier can't reach your address, you'll never see them in your results.

Your bill, or just a rough idea
Send us your latest bill and we'll pull out your supplier, deal and usage — or tell us roughly what you use and we'll work with that. Not sure? That's okay, we'll use a typical NI home to get you started.

We do the complicated bit
Standing charges, day and night rates, discounts, welcome credits — all of it goes in, so you get one honest yearly figure. We also show what it costs once the introductory offers run out, because that matters too.

We order deals by price, nothing else
The cheapest deal for you goes at the top, full stop. Nothing else — not branding, not buzzwords — changes the order. Every price links back to a dated tariff version so you can check it yourself.

What we promise you
- You'll never see a deal you can't actually get at your address.
- No hidden standing charges — we always show the full yearly cost.
- We use your real usage whenever you give it to us.
- We'll always tell you when a deal is a regulated one.
- There's no obligation to switch. You stay in control.
- We keep old prices on file, so you can check our sums months later.
Worst case, we tell you you're already on a good deal. Best case, you're a few hundred quid up on your old supplier.

You approve sharing your details
Explicitly, for that provider and that deal. Nothing about you moves before this point.

The provider receives your information
From then on they're responsible for it, under their own privacy notice.

The provider completes the application
We follow it through and keep you posted until it's done.

We may receive a commission
Some providers pay us when an application completes. It never changes the order deals are shown in, and you never pay us anything.
