Your privacy comes first
How we keep your stuff safe
You're trusting us with bills, policies and renewal dates — so here's exactly how that information is stored, who can see it, and how to get rid of it.
Encrypted, always
Your documents and details are encrypted in storage and in transit — the same kind of protection your bank uses.
Only you can see it
Every record is locked to your account at the database level. No other customer — and no browsing staff member — can pull it up.
Read-only, never sold
If you connect a bank, Bully can only read payments — he can never move money. We don't sell or share your data with anyone.
Delete whenever
Remove a single document or wipe the whole filing cabinet with one tap. Gone means gone.
Your personal filing address
Every account gets its own private filing address (something like name.123@inbox.billocks.com). Use it when you sign up for a bill, policy or renewal and the paperwork lands straight in your filing cabinet instead of cluttering your own inbox.
Anything that arrives is attached to your account only. We read it to pull out the useful bits — supplier, renewal date, what you're paying — and to tell you when a price creeps up or cover gets quietly cut. It is not used for advertising and it is not passed on.
You can turn the address off at any time, and anything already filed stays under your control.
Who can see your information
Access is enforced at the database level, per account — not just hidden in the app. That means a request for someone else's documents simply returns nothing, even if someone tried.
If you connect a bank account to find subscriptions, that connection is read-only. We can see payments to spot money leaks; we can never move money, set up a payment or change anything with your bank. You can disconnect in one tap.
Getting your data out — or deleting it
You can download your own audit trail, so you can see the figures and assumptions behind any saving we've shown you. And you can delete individual documents or your entire filing cabinet whenever you want.
We only keep what's needed to run your comparisons and switches, and to meet the record keeping the energy and insurance industries require for a switch you actually made.
What we won't say
Plenty of sites claim "military-grade" security or list badges they can't back up. We won't. What's on this page is what we actually do. If we go through a formal external audit or certification, we'll say so here — with the date and who did it.
Spotted something that looks wrong, or want to report a security issue? Tell us through the help centre and we'll come back to you.
Happy enough? Let's find you some money.
